Are you sh*ting me. I went down and cut up and Apple for my kid and that is all it took for us to piss away the bottom of the 5th? What the hell. Was it a 3 pitch inning for Cy Pruitt and his 5.98 ERA?

 

Oh geez you're making it seems these baseball players are running full speed all over the field for 48 minutes like basketball. Correa swings a bat, INJURED. Keuchel throws a ball, INJURED. Springer runs for a fly ball, INJURED. No physical contact with other people and they still get more injury than a entire football team.

 

Again, I take it you've never actually played baseball...

And absolutely nobody here is claiming it to be less risky than football. But, it is still a sport that involves either rapid repetitive un-natural throwing actions, and athletic ability that is beyond the average human.

And for the guys that are seemingly out of shape or old/slow... you need to have supreme hand-eye coordination to stay at this level.

 

So you have in fact never played baseball.
