If Lakers fans can forgive Kobe for quitting, why can't we forgive Harden for quitting?

Any sources on that? I can only remember many comments where teammates said he had insane work ethic, took scrimmages like real games and was the first/last to arrive at and leave the gym.

Real nba fans respect Kobe. The championships and work ethic speak for themselves.
I like Harden too but c'mon. There are a lot of good qualities he could take from Kobe.

Just because Haren is well known in the Team US circle and can recruit others does not mean he is excused from any quitting in important games.

I used to creep the portland forums after the eric millegan incident and like 5 of them said that they signed up for clutchfans right around that july 15-25th period.

This is what @swyyyguy wants. To tear us apart. But let it be know mr blade that if you are a Portland fan (not saying that you are) that Portland sucks and if we didn't have Jeremy Lin holding us back @mig0s then we would have won that series.

 

I don't think anyone excuses Harden for that game. It happened. We all saw it and have to face it as much as he does. However sometimes people can redeem themselves. He deserves a chance. It doesn't matter if the rumors of clubbing or locker room issues were true. He did what he did, made his bed and now he has to face it. Obviously we're taking Harden off the ball more. We're surrounding him with players that can create their own shots instead of just catch and shoot 3'nD players or in Ryan anderson's case just a 3pt shooter. This is his chance for redemption. People make mistakes. It happens. People will most likely never forget just like that Kobe series. It is what it is. He can however be forgiven if he takes the right steps to redeem himself and help the team advance further than ever. Give the man a chance and see's how he fixes things. I mean he could learn from kobe and buy us all some million dollar ring too if he wants.

 

I dun think we as fans have a say in the plans of the management.

If it is Harden, CP and Carmelo or Lebron (whoever) that is fine....

If it is Marquelle Fultz, Embiid, JJ Redick, Simmons, Saric, Covington......we would have to be fine with that too - objectives are different
