Just hours after the meeting his son, son-n-law, and campaign manager had with the Russians with dirt on Hillary Clinton... the meeting that Trump "didn't know about." The meeting Trump wrote his son's misleading statement about. Trump gave this speech:
Doubt Trump writes much. May not even know how. All that is needed is Trump admitting he gave input. The act of "weighing in" qualifies. "Causing a false document to be introduced through an innocent witness." Can be written or oral. Here's the Department of Justice (U.S. Attorneys) site: https://www.justice.gov/usam/criminal-resource-manual-1752-subornation-perjury
http://theweek.com/speedreads/715715/trump-lawyer-jay-sekulow-might-need-lawyer-now Either Trump lied to his attorney or his attorney knowingly and repeatedly lied about the issue. Either way, he's no longer credible on any public statement.
Even more ticky-tack than lying about a blowjob. I'm not saying to ignore it, but if this was the basis of an impeachment trial, I'd be pretty disappointed. If it was one charge in 20 in a much larger conspiracy allegation, that's more appropriate. I'd rather not have impeachments that are only about cover ups without any charge for the underlying malfeasance that needed covering. More for rhetorical application, it's yet another data point of actual wrongdoing that Trumpkins deny we have any knowledge about. I'm sure they will no more acknowledge this point than they have all the others though.
that's not how the new york times found out about it. it was leaked right? I'd love to see sarah spin different historical figures. She might be the most useful from that entire administration. (for now)
Agree... this by itself wouldn't be enough. Not that there isn't anything here... heck, Starr went after Bill Clinton on subornation of perjury charges. Its a crime, and this should remove any pretense that its a "witch hunt" and that Trump hasn't done anything wrong. But I agree that it in itself wouldn't e enough. Many republicans will allow themselves to let Trump off for "being a good dad". I think Trump and his defense team is counting on that when they kept referring to Trump Junior as a "kid" (despite him being 39 years old and the father of five kids of his own). I believe any such charges that would move to the impeachment process would need to be three-fold: emoluments, collusion, and obstruction of justice. This one example supports charges of collusion and obstruction of justice. But it is but one of what I suspect are many such charges that Mueller and the two congressional investigations are pursuing. I am betting Manafort and Flynn will be the major components of the investigation.
I don't see 24 GOP reps voting to impeach unless there was a wire and you had Trump on tape. That or if people in his circle turn against him and testify but I don't see that happening either. I think if he doesn't finish his term then it'll be because of health issues.
You mean you don't believe HuffPo and CNN's scandals du jour? Meanwhile...stock market record highs. Get out and enjoy life, boys. Life's too short to be frustrated every single day by what the media feeds you!.
Says the guy who was obsessed and frustrated with Obama for 8 years, all while the stock market posted record highs.
Wikileaks as much as admitted that "russia" was Seth Rich today. Lol. Just lol. Unless Seymour Hersh is just another liar.
Record low approval ratings at this point in a presidency with an improving economy from waaay back in 2008. Imagine what his numbers would be if things started to go bad. Ouch
Awesome. If it were only true... https://roninok.com/economy/obama-trumps-trump-in-stock-market-gains-through-july.html
Pre-election polling was pretty accurate. Clinton had more votes than Trump. About what the polls predicted when margin of error... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...presidential-election/?utm_term=.aee0af9b5cd8
BWAAHAHAHAHA - liberals can apparently try to spin anything. This can only mean one thing - Spoiler HOORAY! Hillary won!! Great news for Hillary! **snort**
Still stuck in the past... when Hillary was running for president, and before Trump was found out to to have violated emoluments, collusion, and obstruction of justice. Six months into Trump's presidency, and the best thing you can be happy about isn't any success he has had other than his win in November. So celebrate Trump's win... but better do it soon, before he makes the history books for other reasons.
One is an election (which Trump was given a 28.6% chance of winning) with a choice between multiple candidates. With many other variables. Aproval ratings are different. Of course there is some correlation. I suppose you are implying Trump is popular among independents currently which is what mostly tips the scales in approval ratings. I guess so Bigtexxx.
