    Lunhow is a smart guy so there's no chance he didn't anticipate fiers regressing back towards his mean. Which makes not making a significant trade for a bonafide arm even more frustrating and inexcusable.

    I don't need see Archer yakking up 14 runs either. Fiers against a staff ace and no springer to Correa. Odds are certainly not in our favor

    Ok. So we lose this one. Win the next two and that is 3 of 4 at home where we haven't exactly killed it. With DK and Peacock coming up no reason to think we don't.

    We all knew Fiers would come back to earth eventually but besides that, the pitching just isn't good enough right now. I am going to be pretty frustrated about the lack of a deadline deal for a while. Hopefully this current staff can get into some sort of a groove at the end of the season.
