That's apart of t but I think Wades major problem is he isn't a great shooter and that is a skill you need to age well in the NBA...

Also I think James' game will age better because his style doesn't really rely on athleticism mainly his shooting and passing abilities mixed with his creative handles and strength are what makes him great. Where Wade was named Flash for a reason he was a tremendous athlete in his prime.

OK, but he's the leader of this squad you speak of. At least Bev was pissed. My favorite Rocket of all time, sad he's gone. Harden was cool though in the press conference afterwards, his "**** happens" attitude won me over for sure. He later found his rightful throne in VIP at a Houston club after embarrassing himself. Looks like he had juuuust enough gas left in the tank for bottle service that night. Sometimes you wanna go where everyone knows your name, I guess...

usually when people feel like **** somewhere or have a terrible day on the job, they tend to go somewhere that makes them feel betfer....

it's unfair to think he's any different from any other human...

I'll agree with you if he shows up fat and out of shape to training camp again.

He didn't show emotion after the loss but it's not like one night can make him better. A summer could...

Let's be real he definitely quit. He passed up wide open threes. Even if he was tired, he should have still shot those shots.

I understand human nature, I'm referring to the partying aspect of night life in VIP in a night club. If him and Ariza wanted to go get tanked on a case of Lonestar in the Toyota Center parking lot afterwards, I wouldn't have cared.

You know, pre-Madonna, as in the world before her name change. Or acting like her music off her album pre-Madonna.

For what it is worth, the urban dictionary does have a definition for pre-madonna: Used by idiots who do not know the real phrase is prima donna.

For @forchette49's edification, in Italian prima means first and donna woman. It is a term used for a "leading lady" in an opera or play. It is used colloquially to mean "diva," or the way I assumed you meant to use it.

Really? Of all the Rockets that we've had come through Houston, Beverley is your ALL-TIME favorite? Wow, you must be like 15 years old. No offense, but thats ridiculous.

I might even understand if the had been on the team for a decade, but he was here for 5 seasons...that's not exactly a ton of time.

Not Hakeem, not Clyde, not T-Mac, not Yao, not Francis, not Mobley, not Harden, but Patrick Beverley? LOL

I liked Bev myself, but come on.

Yes, Beverley is my all-time favorite Rocket. I'm sorry our opinions are different. I'm a bit of a pre-Madonna after all.

What, who cares!? Lol And no need for the ad hominem argument. You're better than that. Just focus on the topic at hand.

Lol. If you were "pre-Madonna" Beverley would be a Rocket you like, but nowhere near your favorite "All-time".

Harden is doesn't loom over losses much, he just goes to the club and the next goes to work that summer, adds another skill set, then goes to kill it again. I don't know what's you guys want out of a player who works with what he has of a team. Coming back after loosing a coach and taking on a crappy coach, learns how to be a pg, goes to the 2nd round again in a whole new system and players takes adjustment. If he were in L.A. he would most likely have a ring by now given the Alice of L.A.

    Get off your high horse.

Just because he's earning a ridiculous amount of money, he doesn't owe you anything in regards to how he lives his life.

Until NBA owners start demanding contracts state they cannot visit these types of establishments, it will continue to happen.

So you're happy if he was getting drunk in a parking lot.

But not happy he's getting drunk in a strip club surrounded by women.

You must be a real hoot to be around.

"Gross, I can't believe you invited these girls to the party. If you need me I'll be sitting in the gutter on your driveway drinking by myself. Because that's better than this."
