Apparently, Morey is supposed to give up Clint or Ariza just so that some posters won't have to deal with blue balls.

You do realize that if the Knicks keep him, they also have to play him... a lot. He's in an option year, so if he wants a big contract elsewhere, and they want him gone, they have to get him value. If they play him 20 minutes a game, he has no option but to opt in as his opportunity to make more money went bye-bye. This is another motivation to move on. He's got them in a headlock.

Either they keep him and feature him as a player or they keep him and pay the full 54 million with little production or
They trade him to the team of his choice and take what they get in return.

What are the chances that the organization actually wants to play the man big minutes when they just signed Hardaway Jr?

Clutch has been pretty ruthless lately. I'll take a gentlemen's pass.

The Suns are not giving up Josh Jackson lol. They just drafted him and he is going to play an important role for their team this season. The Kyrie saga has NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING to do with Melo. I have no idea how this belief became so pervasive on this board. Its utter nonsense.

Just google: Josh Jackson and look at the news headline. "Suns RELUCTANCE TO DEAL JOSH JACKSON HALTS TRADE TALKS"

the trailblazers' arena has red seats and ryno's shot .405 on 3's against them. but just to step back here for a minute -- are you an actual supporter of the colorblindness theory?

How do you know that? It's not hard to believe that Kyrie declaring he wants out is causing the NYK to stall in an attempt to cash in on the only star player looking to leave ASAP. I think it's safe to say, based on all the analysis thus far, that the NYK are dreaming...still, doesn't mean they're not trying. Why wouldn't they? What benefit do they get from trading Melo NOW instead of next month?

Also, you went from Jackson to Kyrie to Jackson....so which is it you're saying has nothing to do with Melo?
