Yeah but nobody cares about the sasha vucavic, tiago splitters, or mario chalmers of the world. It may be easy to be a benchwarmer or decent role player on a championship team but it's legit to be a huge contributor on a championship team.

In defense of "the haters", they aren't saying that adam morrison and james jones are better than T-Mac. They are saying that mac was a great player that should've been like Dirk, lebron, Kobe, Duncan, Garnett, Pierce and contributed to making his team a championship team.

Is it fair to say T-Mac was talented enough to be that kind of guy? Is it fair to put the rockets playoff failures on him and not on crappy teammates? Who knows but everyone has a strong opinion on it, it seems.

I believe more in circumstance than individual greatness, which isn't meant to diminish the all time greats, but just show how hard it is in basketball. Tmac had the talent, but not the circumstance to go far.

Why would a "real Rockets fan" be so mad about one of the greatest Rockets ever being a first ballot hall of famer???

Two Chinese have won NBA championships. Mengke Bateer won a ring on the 2002-2003 Spurs team and Sun Yue won one on the 2008-2009 Lakers team. Yao Ming, a Hall-of-Famer, got none.

I think that's what TMac meant.

Bruh, first of all thats really gay and no one wants to see you cumming at people like that.

Second of all, dont derail this thread troll.

This is a tmac opinion thread. I congratulated swyyyguy on his victory in the popular vote but I voted for tinman and absolutely agree with 99 percent of his mcgrady beliefs tbh.

Just too many clues and signs of him being a crappy teammate IMO. Don't want to be in a foxhole with him.

    99 percent aint that bad....lol

He was a better team mate than Dwight Howard and others.... His game was built on athleticism, once that was gone, all he could do was facilitate but he lost his quick step. That is all.

He was always a willing passer, did not have the handles of a James Harden to be honest but his passing is only second to Harden and Paul as a Rocket.

For A Small Forward with that kind of handle is very rare, very rare.

People here think, just because he aint a good PR, and saying some dumb stuff to the media does automatically equal to 'cancer as a teammate' is wrong.

I admit, things could have been better with Adelman, and Adelman did not trust him as much as Van Gundy did.

His deterioration came once Adelman took the job, so no hard feelings.

BTW You are not in a foxhole with him, pro ballers are.... good thing.

    You started this thread dude.

Can you name me the playoff series that T-mac played in for the Rockets?

Can you tell me if we had home court in any?

Can you tell me how many series we won.

bonus points, what city and arena is this in?

Bonus round: Can tinmac tell us where the franchise originated? Being called out in a different thread about history and then trying to lecture people in this thread, cute.

they started in San Diego. I forgot since I've been going to the Rockets game since I was a kid.
They belong to Houston for so long an old man can forget.

Here's a bonus. How many playoff series did Tracy McGrady win as a Rocket?
    How many did Yao?

It's really easy. No need to go far back in time.

Because he severed the ties with the franchise and was injury-riddled, which I've never excused.
It's cute how you try to make me look delusional when I'm not even a "die-hard" fan of McGrady, guess it's the only way you can hide how little substance your posts have and that you are a fake fan that uses up more time on Lin and McGrady than on the real team.

    Kid.

I can pull up every post you made here. It's in the search function. And you and I talking about Tmac is not new.
You called Clutch classless for saying Tmac quit.

You think you are a better Rockets fan than Clutch?
