"This list looks beyond current contenders Cleveland, Houston and Oklahoma City -- each of whom already has at least two superstars -- to the next generation of potential superteams."

you've been here since 2002 and you still believe what ESPN say? ESPN try to dis the rockets every chance they could and you want them to list the rockets as a possible super team for ya?

It still makes no sense. I'd love to go home to see my family and visit the beaches of Caracas and such instead of dirty ass galveston. But because of all the other sh** going on I wouldn't dare think about living in a place that is quite possibly on the verge of war... which it seems like NYK always are. It's not really about WANTING or NOT WANTING to go because I'd love to... but again to deal with all the other sh**, makes it pointless.

I might as well stay here with my nice home, a good stable job, and the opportunity to grow... which is where Kyrie's head should be. Miami is another story, who the hell DOESN'T want to go to Miami. I know I would.

ESPN just doesn't want to admit the pending inevitable of us getting Carmelo this year and Lebron joining as a free agent next year.

    - What exactly about NYK would not be a nice home, stable job, and opportunity to grow? The only thing missing there is winning, which Irving clearly does not give a damn about. By the way, both teams have terrible owners and questionable FO.
    - You want to go home to visit, he wants to go home to live. Not sure what is so hard about that to understand.
    - You would be a fool to believe NYC is not just a desirable place to live in as Miami for the wealthy, if not more so.

Let's see... incompetent owner, a young disgruntled star, absolutley no upside or assets to get better any time soon. Sure the money will be there but that's about it, because when the honeymoon phase passes the New York fans and media will be defacing him and his value rather than Melo.

God, you are slow... let me spell it out I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK HOME TO BE WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS! Period. To LIIIIIVVVVVEEEE.

Again Miami is Miami and any athlete will take that over dumpy ass Cleveland. Plus they've shown that they have the ability to draft talent, a competent GM, and pretty good HC. I'd take that over the NYK situation any day.

umm alot of players don't want to go to miami. 1. bc they're not into that night life. 2. they want to avoid as much distraction as possible

not every nba player is into that lifestyle. that shouldn't be shocking

    - If he actually cared about that, you might actually have a point. He wants to go back to NYC for home, not for winning or fame. NYK just happens to be there.

    - Considering you spent the entire time ranting about how you would love to see your family, but wouldn't live there for various personal reasons, I don't think I am being slow. Rather, you should learn to write. It's pretty simple, you either want to and are willing to go home to LIVE or you are not. You made it pretty damn clear that you wouldn't. Irving made it clear that he loves home enough to actually do so. Again, not a hard concept to grasp. Not sure why you are struggling so hard with a player wanting to go back home.

    - Miami is a great city and that's why it's on his list. You would take Miami over NYC, he wouldn't. Outside of NYC actually being his home, it's still a great city in its own right. NYK is just a part of that equation for him.

Anyone think that if we got melo maybe we could run a bit of melo capela pick and rolls against the spurs to expose their slowness just like we did against the mavs back in the day? I feel like we could use it as a change up, his ball handling and passing are pretty good for the 4 spot.
I can't wait for him to feast on slow players.

I see no reason why this wouldn't work. We ran the same play between Josh/D-Mo and Howard/Capela.

Poster says he is 9 years old; this upcoming season is Trevor's 9th year in the league since signing with Houston back in 09-10... Capitalized T in "Tight" to initiate misdirection??? T = Trevor Ariza is the final piece in the Melo deal? Melo deal confirmed by end of the week?! IT'S HAPPENING!!!
