With Aoki and Hernandez gone, I've got to think that both Fisher and Tucker are probably safe. Fisher stays in the big leagues, and Tucker potentially becomes the next guy to come up in case of injury. If other deals are made, Lunhow probably deals pitchers or guys at other positions.
Well I'm not saying right this second. But at any point next year if a need arises he will be on the short list of options. That is "close" imo.
The trades they made were disappointing and the lack of trades has also been disappointing Not a hard concept
I'd think Kemp is likely next in line should we need another OF...assuming he's not part of a deal in the next 76 minutes.
Damn... I totally forgot about Kemp. I was getting really excited about the potential for Tucker to get called up this week with Springer still out.
1. I didn't say anything about free agency 2. The 2015 trades were crap at the time 3. 2016 lack of trades was disappointing 4. 2017 trade deadline while having a great chance at a title is shaping up to be disappointing Meanwhile we've seen other contenders making aggressive moves to get bonafide help the last few seasons... Willing to spend some prospects... Cubs, indians, nats, red sox.... They are getting elite talents to make the push .... While we half ass it with so-so trades getting the Scott Kazmirs
Teoscar is a knucklehead that I would never want to have to root for. Much too whimsical out there on the field. Reminds me of Jonathan Villar with less baseball IQ. Aoki needed to go a long time ago for Fisher to get his chance. This trade is outstanding in my eyes.
True...but Kemp offers some positional flexibility with Marwin starting at SS everyday for the foreseeable future.
Just a couple guys we were very loosely tied too couple weeks ago that have gone quiet. Think if we do something it will be like that
Everything that I have read online is that Teoscar is one of the hardest working players and a favorite of coaches. Are you basing your opinion on his collision with Altuve?
