    I really suspect Kyrie wants to go to NY. He's probably driving up interest by saying he'll go to these places, knowing they don't have the assets to put together a deal

    Still makes no sense, especially after this debacle plus the most recent with their GM, Head Coaches, and ex-players.

    Cleveland made sense, NY is a fu**in mess.

    You never heard the saying, "Home is where the heart is"? It doesn't matter that NYK is a mess right now. With the teams he wants to be traded to, winning is clearly not the highest priority. At NYK, he will be paid and he will be home. Besides, we are talking about an individual that believes the world is flat.

    Of course I have, but that doesn't mean I want to go back home no matter what sh**storm situation its in. I'm from Venezuela and my family is down there but I don't plan on heading down there any time soon, with the political turmoil that's going on. Obviously, I'm no NBA player but to throw yourself in that situation no matter where home is, to me, would be idiotic.

    Maybe the world is flat .... cause he's looking at it on paper.... :confused:

    melo can end this stalling real quick by just starting a tweet war with hardaway. question how the F the dumbass knicks could sign the same guy who ATL couldn't even get a 2nd round pick for 6 months ago..... to a $71M contract. NY front office would be in immediate damage control and trying to just void melo's contract wouldn't be an option for something like this.

    Let's think about this for a second. What kind of situation would Irving be in?
    - He will be at home where he genuinely wants to be, unlike you in your scenario
    - By wanting to go to NYK (and Miami), he clearly doesn't care about winning, just getting paid
    - As a player still willing to go to such a team, he will be pampered... at least in the beginning

    That said, I doubt he ends up going to NYK, mainly because:
    - Melo is already claiming to not want to go to Cleveland
    - They recently signed Hardaway Jr, so they need SOMEONE who can pass

    The trade is dead. Also Paul is leaving after the season. ESPN just declared who the teams are that could be the next super team. And the Rockets are not even a dark horse. Lock thread. Take ball. Go home.
