I doubt he's spying for Cersei. He's done way too much work to help Dany that he didn't have to do if he was just spying. There isn't anyone with Dany who would have reason to want to help Cersei. I think the point is like AI/god with too much information, he's lost his humanity. Which is a bit odd, because the original 3-eyed Raven did not act like this. It's definitely an odd take on the character that mortal concerns are beneath him.
Oh man, it was awkward as hell. I wasn't expecting that reunion but I figured it would have been a much happier occasion. I guess they have both been through some stuff since they last saw each other..
Of the seven great families Cersei seems to have most of southern ones: Martell Tyrell Lannister Baratheon - I guess their house is dead Jon Snow has: Stark Arryn - The Vale Tully - Not sure All Danny has is the Dothraki, and the Dragons, and to use the Dragons she would have to ride on it which makes her vulnerable. I think maybe her luck is finally going to run out. Plus she doesn't have the commanders that Cersei has in Jamie or Euron. For their two main characters why did they get such bad actors. The girl who plays Danny is so terrible, and even Jon Snow is not that great. They have some great villains. The guy who played Ramsey was great. Tyrion is the best, but a lot of their heroes are underwhelming.
I was hoping for some more gratuitous Tyene "most beautiful girl in the world" scenes. Actually, the show botched the entire Dorne thread so badly that all we could hope for was a cool demise. They weren't going to be elevated or redeemed by the producers, not with the show hurtling toward a conclusion and the need to dispatch secondary characters. Lady Olenna, RIP. Mrs Bond, you're a great actress, and your hotness of yesteryear helped make up for your mediocre one-movie husband in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."
perhaps bran already knows sansas fate/how she dies and thats why its hard for him to be happy about seeing her. or maybe he knows that she will betray john snow??? i suspect varys is not on team dany...he could be spying for jamie or even working with euron, which would explain why he was twice able to outsmart dany and her allies. mellisandres comment about him dying in westeros does not bode well for his future.
They'll be in the sky executing dragons. There was a subtle exchange between Missandei & Sir Davos that seemed... strange. Not sure I trust Missandei.
I've decided, looking at the map, that losing the fleet at Casterly Rock ain't no big thing. It makes some sense to have sailed there to avoid run ins with other people. But, the distance sailing from Casterly Rock to King's Landing is 5 times longer than just marching it. If, as Google tells me, the distance is ~ 1,000 miles by road, it'd take about a month on a forced march. Or you could go to Highgarden (Jaime seems to have made that march in no time at all) or Riverrun in half that time if that's where you're needed. Traveling by sea at 10 knots to King's Landing would take 2.5 weeks -- faster but not by orders of magnitude. The fortnight Cersei promises looks not realistic given the distances, but that's one time marker. The other one I remarked upon is that Sansa concludes they have a year's worth of food. Now, of course, this isn't actionable data yet, and she has ordered more food to be brought, but it'll be interesting to see when that food runs out, if ever.
The Unsullied and even the Dornish are no where near as accomplished sailors as the Iron Born. Which is probably why taking out Yara first was the key Just because The Unsullied arrived at Casterly Rock in the morning Does not mean they killed and took the castle in less than a day They may have had to use a day to get them in position to IMPREGNATE THE BISH!
