By whom, ESPN, other bullsh** media and casual fans? This is now how team sports work.

Tmac fans you can't what if an entire career and play put tmac on a team so he can advance to a playoff victory.

That's characteristics of a player only fan not a team fan.

You can't treat Harden differently than tmac cause they are both in the same position , the highest paid player on the Rockets.

You get paid the highest you have the most responsibility.

Face it, had tmac left the rockets after one season like Pippen you Tracy McGrady only fans would have left too.

Now you are here to drop the what if scenario to justify his failures like lin fan blaming coaches for not using him correctly.

You'll never be a pure Rockets fan until you realize tmac failed as the Rockets best player during his stay here

Reality my friend and yes this is how it should work, they are stars and get paid the big bucks. Tracy putting up 30 PPG in the end did nothing for team success, but did for his HOF bid and status as an individual player so you get judged for that. Sure role players have a part in it and everyone contributes, but in the end the star players carry the heaviest load and are looked upon to carry the team. What do you hear every player say about Olajuwon in 1995 for example, he took the team on his back and to the promised land.

I can bump the old thread where the Tracy McGrady fans thought he was better than LeBron.
Any Rockets fan would have loved to see Lebron and Yao on the same team

Lol, their is a significant difference between Olajuwon and McGrady .
The Tmac fans don't know the meaning of leadership, heart and toughness.
Mario Elie said Dream was so positive after a loss, said Dream said don't worry Mario we will beat them next game with a smile.

Funny as sh** how you guys still dance around the rosters, everyone's performances and provide absolutely no context.

Some posters here don't even realize how they mirror the very same sensational and no-substance crap they hate ESPN and First Take for.

You really comparing the Rockets championship rosters to the pile of dung we had in the mid 2k era?
    Hilarious.

Taking a quote out of context to further your own argument, great job.

A pile of dung can attack the shoes of others with smell and texture. Man, we had all the 1 way players in the league it seemed.

Not out of context at all, you blamed the failures on McGrady and at the same time praised Hakeem for taking his team to the championship.

James Harden already passed up TMac for Rockets team accomplishments.
This is why Tmac fans are so mad.

Tmac and Steve Francis are the same boat, Harden sailed past those two.

Francis has big problems going to the Hall of Fame.... but he is used to the Finer things apart from that.

Francis also played for the Orlando Magic and for a Chinese team.

Well the Chinese team never let him play more than 4 games......

Hakeem and McGrady had the same role with the Rockets, the best player and highest paid player.
Hakeem led the Rockets to 140 playoff games.

McGrady only played in 20 playoff games for the Rockets.

All that passion McGrady fans have for 20 playoff games that led to zero playoff victories.

McGrady is a better player than Francis that's why he's in the Hall of Fame. but as Far as being the leader of the Rockets and leading them in the playoffs, they have the same team results.

Francis should be grateful that he made those 4 Allstar appearances..... his style was Hardenesque but without finesse and a poor version of that even, just dribbling dribbling down the clock.

Once that athleticism winded down..... yeah.

I think McGrady was a rare specimen, you could see what Bosh could do with Lebron and Wade.

I am sure McGrady could do the same if not more with them. I think McGrady was a tad better than Bosh but in terms of leadership Bosh might be a tad better.

Feel free to compare those rosters and talent levels, plus how they performed in the playoffs.

Nah, being the SAS/Skip of Clutchfans and shouting without any substance is the better way to do it.

Some posters here are like cavemen when it comes to basketball, would love to see you in a debate with actual basketball professionals.
