Looking at the rest of Doc Rocket's tweets and the timing of that tweet with the military theme of the post it might not be a Rockets related tweet at all. It could be his/her agreement with Trump's new military policy this week.
not to run with politics, but ....i sincerely hope not. But even if that is the case, i'll compartmentalize it and not let it skew my feelings about Doc. Everyone's entitled to their own point of view.
It definitely is. All you have to do is take a look at his twitter feed to see that he's a full-blown Trump fan. Hmmm... wrong most of the time, tweets in gibberish, yet still has a devoted following. Ah, makes sense now.
Kind of why I stopped following him. He rarely tweets anything about basketball. I have enough politics on a daily basis don't need any more negativity regardless of party.
Doc is a fraud....no different than Pounder and the other fraudsters. Have no idea why he gets so much play on this board.
I think he has his connections but they're likely dated. He's likely 4-6 degrees separated from Daryl at this point...Possibly more.
You never know with Doc but anyone remember the summer of Dwight? I believe Doc posted a comic book cover of Superman unchained on June 5th. Doc knew what the end result would be but because Dwight was Dwight and wanted all the media attention circulating around him he didn't "officially" make his decision until like the end of July. Let's just all be patient. The less the Knicks feel like they are finally getting attention and want to drag this drama out is when something will happen. Dolan is probably loving every minute of this. No one has talked about the knicks this much since the hiring of Phil jackson.
Howard announced his decision on July 6 after spending a few days meeting with teams and coming to that decision. He could not have done it much earlier than that.
Still took a month after Doc's original post. Still might happen on a Tuesday at 5:45 pm or a Friday.
This was obviously being discussed before the Brandon Knight injury. Plus I think the suns were hesitant to trade Bledsoe earlier to see where Devin Booker was in terms of development and where Brandon Knight's development and ability to stay healthy was. Obviously Knight's injury and the Suns trying to fish Kyrie for Bledsoe makes this scenario pretty much dead. I wish we could get hints as to who the new third and fourth team might be. It just feels like all the news is just a broken record in regards to Melo.
The free agency period didn't start until July 1. He could not even have contact with other teams until then.
