3rd Attempt: GOP/Trump Repeal & Replace ACA and Trump lie about pre-exist coverage

It's amazing that despite all of the historical evidence and all of the industry experts being agreement, people STILL think that you can fix the individual market by repealing the individual mandate.

The insurance companies have flat out told you that they will leave the markets if you do this. Stunning.

 

How many attempts have there been now? 8? lmao, talk about not being able to get anything done...

What will they do after the kill the individual mandate and leave pre x in and every insurance company leaves every county in the country for individual coverage?

 

No doubt, Trump will list this as one of the greatest first 100 day accomplishments.

Not to mention this has already been attempted by New York's state market before the ACA and they had some of the worst premiums in the US and yet the stated goal of the Republican bill is supposedly to lower premiums. They're keeping community rating pricing but removing the individual mandate. What could possibly go wrong?

 

this, ACA was a massive premium spike on the middle class coupled with a massive Medicaid expansion

 

Remember how all you did for seven years was complain, hyperbolically, about Obamacare being passed in the dead of night?

Get ready for your own medicine tenfold once this fundamental rewriting of the American economy is passed in the span of hours.

 

You know there is a word for that right?

Its called "insurance"

 

Let the GOP own the destruction of the health care system. The public need to feel and understand that their votes do matter.

 

Preventive care would save our country so much money in the long run... forest/ trees.

 

They know this. They aren't stupid. They simply don't care. Calling them evil isn't far off at this point.

 

So the first vote is on referring this back to the health committee (aka regular order).

And of course John McCain doesn't vote for it. Nor did any of the other Republicans who complained about the current process. Talk about a courageous bunch.
