That's fine. Just remember that when you're using this form as a contraction for "you are," it's "you're."

For example, if I say to you, "You're a ****ing moron," or "You're a steaming pile of horseshit," I have to use "you're," not "your."

Same as in too, two, and to. Like, if I said to you, "You're too stupid to put two and two together," that would be the correct use of each one.

I don't think I said anything about gender roles? There's clearly more to it than wanting to engage in activities that is customarily performed by those of the opposite sex.

You said the difference in the two examples I gave is that its possible to disprove their belief. If we took their "belief" to be that they don't have a penis or they don't have XY chromosomes (talking about a transgender person who identifies as female), then I would agree with you. But that is not their belief.

Their belief is that their mind/persona doesn't match their physical characteristics. That belief regarding their mind/persona is itself largely intangible and consequentially is very difficult to "disprove" -- just as it would be difficult to disprove the existence of a soul or a mind that exists apart from the body. And it may be that there is a relatively rare biological phenomenon that we don't yet fully understand which gives rise to such a belief. Of course that wouldn't be evidence that the person is actually an invisible female trapped in a male body (or vice versa), but it could at least point to why they'd have such a sensation.

As to them being compelled to resolve the perceived mismatch, you can find it strange or bizarre, but there's nothing "disprovable" there either. How they should feel about their bodies or whether they should be content with their sex is really a subjective matter.

So, I don't think one being disprovable compared to the other is really the key differentiater between the two examples. A better differentiater, in my opinion, is whether or not the "delusion" is harmful to one's well-being or the well-being of those around them. If that's what we're looking at, some transgender people are clearly worse off than others. For those who are really struggling with their feelings, and maybe are in an environment that makes it even harder for them to cope, their gender dysphoria becomes a legitimate mental illness and they need help. For others who happen to be in an accepting environment and through whatever means they reach a point where they are basically comfortable with their bodies and are able to live happy, productive lives, I personally don't see a need for the "mental illness" label.

 

So what you are saying is that you love to correct people's grammar but you seem to use a comma after the first word of every sentence. Doesn't work that way hombre.
