For those saying who cares, why does it bother us; I mean you're right, it shouldn't but I don't know ...haha ...despite all the arguing and disagreements I hate to see fellow Clutchfans being played like fools, and it appears that some posters were actually believing the guy. Because it is one single day, I would have literally put my account or a sum of money on the line saying it wasn't going to go down. Considering I'm super confident he didn't have a reliable source, there are about 90 days left before the NBA season, so that's 1 in 90 odds if a trade had to happen, and it doesn't have to happen. Yeah I've thought about that. I mean he's not a huge asset or anything, but a team like New York could like the attention Zhou Qi brings with him. And if the rumors that we were really close actually are true, then you never know. August 5th is when he could be traded, which is a Saturday, so expect a thread the Wednesday before saying it's going down.

At this point I don't think anyone is "falling" for anything, nor do I think anyone is really even giving the guy a hard time. I think we're all mentally fried by Melo news and just having fun on the message boards in the dog days of summer.
I will say this regarding Zhou Qi, and I'm not sure if this matters enough to any team right now but, in two years say he develops into a decent role player and shows enough promise that he may continue to improve and possibly be a starter, he will still be locked up for another 2 years at $1.7 million a year per. Something like that matters most to a GM like ..... Morey, so he's probably staying put.
This is about right as far as assessments go. People are quick to run out anyone being negative or realistic and then white knight for anyone bringing positive news. I mean, lol, @DaDokta actually said to ignore people [complaining] (He used a more colorful word) despite him being the ULTIMATE [complainer] when it's his turn. Anyway, I think we should just be careful in general about being hateful. It's easy to cross the line. I didn't attack @Pounder or call him a liar, just had fun in the thread and said I hope he's right.
