I literally have zero idea what is going on with Clutchfans anymore. Carmelo has turned it all upside down.

 

So the whole friday thing was another hoax?

Why blame the er, a victim?

 

Of course man. Rule of thumb is not to believe people with hard deadlines. I find imminent acceptable, but not hard deadlines.

If someone claims a deadline, go ahead and research the contracts in the roster and see what may become guaranteed or who is eligible to be packaged with others on a certain date. The hard deadlines better make some freaking sense at least for it to be somewhat believable. Even then, Ryan Kelly needing to be waived is not going to make or break a deal. But if for example, x players contract for $10M becomes guaranteed after a certain date, then you bet your ass that something is probably to happen that day.

 

When can Uthoff be traded again? Should that be the next deadline to look forward to?

 

It truly is a game of chicken at this point. Perry doesn't want to embarrass himself in his first move as GM and is trying to reset the NY front office culture, but he's also keenly aware that he doesn't have any leverage. Tough situation for him to step into.

Why are y'all taking this so seriously? Focus on your work or something if the Melo deal happens... Great. If not, it ain't the end of the world.

 

I'm actually interested in when Zhou Qi can be traded, I think his deadline comes sooner and he might be a more desired asset than Uthoff IMO.

 

I had a dream last night where I looked at my phone and got a "Breaking: Carmelo Anthony traded to the Houston Rockets" notification.

I've had visions through dreams that have come true a couple weeks later. Hopefully this is one of those times.

Well part of that was the believability of the stories. The Joshua guy said an "assistant GM in the west coast" who's not even involved with the trade knew EVERYTHING. Didn't make any sense.
