Ok, that was the one I was assuming it was. Again, I still feel like we'll need a 4th team since they don't want Ryan Anderson. Hell couldn't we pull the Nets into another trade with Portland? They seem to have a fluid line of communication from the Crabbe trade recently. Still waiting on Carmelo like......
Someone asked the question about "How did no-one see the date Crabbe was eligible to be traded back to the Nets?". I'm wondering if there are some more dates on players that have to pass before this thing is finalized. As many real sources have talked about this, and pseudo-insiders like Potato-man, something has to be in play. I think the rumors about other teams is people being bored, and not in the know so they through crap at the wall and see what sticks. or me being overly optimistic.
Per Isola, Melo has already sent the signal by refusing to communicate with either Mills or Perry. Still, if i was Perry, I wouldn't give up before figuring out some Melo-Irving trade scenarios and persuading Melo to accept the fact that playing in Cleveland even only for one year is better than staying in NY unhappy...
True. My point is that it definitely makes sense for NY to at least try and waste some time on the Irving-drama. Just have to expect Knicks being Knicks at some point.
Cleveland does not want to trade Irving for Melo. They are not dumb enough to spend almost 100 million dollars a season on 3 all-star level power forwards. They are not the Portland Jail Blazers.
This whole drama imo, is the league desperately trying to get Melo to choose Cleveland. Why the NBA would have a preference in where a NBA player goes to is another story. But i honestly feel the NBA is trying it's hardest to get Melo to Cleveland with Lebron. They are trying to push him in that direction against his own will
