[Stupid Teen News] California teen arrested after posting live video of crash and dying sister

Seen a post on Reddit saying the girl was on handlebars. The way she is acting I definitely believe she is. This was one of the more disturbing videos I have seen in a while. Not because of the gore, but the behavior and stupidity of this clueless girl.

 

What does it mean to be on handlebars, is that some common thing?

this and the video where they clowned a guy who was drowning in a lake have me convinced that Gen Z have no ****s to give about human life.

 

They are pretty dumb, but no one gives a **** about them either. It kinda goes both ways.

 

Backlash on an entire generation because of the actions of one seemingly sick/deranged kid. C'mon. This sounds like ... well, now that I think about it, every older generation talking about the current generation from the past. Every generation has its sick individuals -- of all ages. The youth of this generation, unforutnately, have a way of showing how sick they really are. But just like previous generations, they'll give rise to the geniuses, visionairies, and good-doers like my generation (Gen X) did with people like Elon Musk and *gasp* one of the founders of that evil social medium, Twitter, Jack Dorsey.

 

Agreed, but they are annoying. Maybe us millenials would have been too had we had social media since birth.

 

I never said I don't care about them or put any backlash on them.

And despite stories of people saying rock and roll is the devils music in the 50's, generations have had different values and Gen Z seems to put a higher value on internet points and lower value on human life.

 

It's the "look at me" generation, because everyone can "look at them". That wasn't the case in the past.

 

Our species is totally out over its skis now.

Evolved to build mud huts and work in small groups...
Given hand-sized device that can connect us to millions of other humans.

 

...and younger people think I'm nuts because I still use a flip-phone (the Samsung Rugby II is basically indestructible, trust me, I've tried to break/drown this one for 7 years or so) 90% of the time, have never been on Facebook or anything else like that. I'm only 42 but I'm fighting it. My slack shack is made of better materials than mud, though. I'm not a savage.
