If we end up with a trade that saw Bledsoe and Melo go to Cleveland for Kyrie. I wonder if the Rockets can trade Eric Gordon + some NG Bros for Kevin Love.
Isola is not that reliable. He gets a ton of things wrong, and most of the stuff that he says never comes to pass. He has been ostracized by the Knicks organization, and no Knick fan takes what he says seriously.
Reported. Fake twitter account. You didn't find it suspicious that the guy has only 2 tweets and no check mark next to his name? Edit: and only 5 followers?
Woj, Shams, Feigen, Berman, Begley. Isola is connected to Melo so at least in terms of what Melo is thinking I trust him. That's it. The rest of them aren't worth your time.
"Basketball Hall of Famer and former NBA executive Isiah Thomas has emerged as a "dark horse candidate" to become the next New York Knicks president, reports Frank Isola of New York Daily News."
Some of his people were put back into the organization in various roles so it's possible that IT did in fact speak with Dolan.
his report was BS, and most people knew it I knew he would bring up IT's name because that's the type of stuff that he does to scare Knick fans with his fear mongering
He's a negative NY writer that always goes after the organization. The organization doesn't like him. However, Melo has very clearly been leaking to him throughout this process. So at least with regards to what Melo is thinking and being told he is reliable right now.
On Isola, he's a cross between Blinebury and Solomon. I don't care about anything he writes about the Knicks organization, but Melo has clearly been leaking stuff to him because everything he's reported about what Melo thinks/has been told ends up verified by someone else as well like Woj.
Given the state of the Knicks over the last almost 20 years, can any honest Knicks writer not be a "negative" writer? With regard to Melo, like The Cat (Ben Dubose) says, the reason why I like pursuing him is because he is potentially available for relatively cheap. Otherwise, he's 33 years old and didn't look that great last year. So, I am not all that sad about not having him if the asking price is too high. The Rockets are not in any real danger of not making the playoffs even without a transaction. They have until mid-February 2018 to make a major addition for the playoff run. There will be other reinforcement opportunities.
sure, I'll buy that he's somewhat reliable in regards to what Melo is thinking during this situation, but when it comes to a bunch of other stuff, his credibility is very low
I think the point about Isola is The Cat said you can trust him on Knicks news....sorta like how cyberx sticks to news out of LA Or am I mixing him up with Ian Begely ...
