Instead of giving an opinion (and the past has passed imo), i'll pose an answer in the form of another question... did we forgive TMac?

I'd say that most rational Rockets fans have forgiven Tmac. I've forgiven Yao for the Utah Jazz series.

Except there are many stupid Rockets fans who dissolve any blame for playoff failures on our highest paid All Star player, Tracy McGrady.

There is no exception for him PERIOD. He's not special because his fans think he is. Same with all of the other stupid player only fans, that includes Harden too.

Nothing is above the truth. And the truth is Tmac never came close to championship, he never won a playoff series as a starter for any team, including China.

The only way Tmac can bring a banner to the Rockets is if we have him climb the rafters and hang one there in the future.

    That's it.

Again, most Rox fans forgave TMac for quitting (not talking playoffs, TMac was Never our issue there). True fans of red nation have moved on.

Because he only played 20 playoff games as a Rocket.
We dropped Steve Francis and Mobley for him and because of the potential of going further in the playoffs.
    We didn't go anywhere.

If james can bring us a ring... then i will of course forgive the long and winding road that brought us to that place...

but until then... until he has something more informative/insightful to offer than "I just couldn't get in a rhythm..." he will always be a quitter in my book and while I will hope for the best, I will expect more of the same... smh...
