Why do the magic keep signing a bunch of the same type of players they already have?

 

didn't they overpay that french fornier dude also? every year the Magic sign strange players or trade for them ala Green , bismak , Tobias harris , jennings and Ibaka then goes ahead to get stuck with them and trades them later for less value.

 

Wow has he fallen off that bad. Thought he was a decent 3 and d guy. Was thinking he would be on a contender for a minor to decent role.

and its been 3 years now, they still can't figure out aaron gordon and whether he can play at the 3 or 4. just strange moves year after year. just completely downhill after dwight's departure with nothing really to be excited about as if its going to get better any time soon

Afflalo was in a perfect fit at Denver years ago. Denver was like the Rockets now in that they tried to outscore everyone but they werent a good defensive tean. He was considered one of the new 3 & D type role players cuz he shot the 3 so well, but his "D" looked better than it really was on a team that didnt defend.
