Or teams don't want there fans to think they actually want Ryno. Doesn't mean they don't actually like him. It's called negotiations.
If you get Pistons involved (one of the only teams that could truly, truly use Ryan Anderson other than us...) CLE: Courtney Lee (NYK) + Frank Ntikilina (NYK) + Stanley Johnson (DET) + HOU expirings (Taylor, Quarterman, Long, Onuaku) + unprotected 2018 1st from NYK + 2020 1st from HOU (lottery protected) + C. Randle (NYK) + $3M cash from Houston + $3M cash from NYK HOU: Melo (NYK) DET: Ryno (HOU) + Iman Shumpert (CLE) + 2020 1st from NYK (top 5 protected) NYK: Kyrie Irving (CLE) + Tobias Harris (DET) + Jon Leuer (DET) + Channing Frye (CLE) Cleveland (1) cuts nearly $25M in salaries so as to avoid tax penalty; (2) picks up young talent (Ntikilina & Johnson); (3) improves 3 point shooting (Lee); & (4) remains competitive with Boston (this year). Cleveland better prepared to survive & rebuild should LeBron bolt by having likely 2018 lottery pick + Ntikilina + Lee / Smith + Johnson / Osman + Love / Onuaku + Thompson / Tavares. Is it the best team in the East? No, but competitive. They could also turn around trade Love to pick up some young talent as well. Houston: Melo. 'Nuff said. Detroit: substantially improves 3 point shooting surrounding Drummond. Unloads Leuer's contract for Shumpert. Picks up future 1st in exchange for Stanley Johnson. Knicks: Irving + Harris is about the best they can expect . Leuer is $9M less than Ryno and could be easier to move down the road. Frye comes off the books this year. Starting 5 of Irving (team captain ) + Hardaway + Harris + Porzingis + Hernangomez is young & talented.
Yeah, Detroit makes a lot of sense as the third team, Stan is probably a decent fan of Ryan, they need shooters, they're are looking to shake up the roster according to various reports...they have also a couple of players that should be interesting for NY (Harris, Jackson).
Part of the continued urbanization of the Toyota Center Experience btw I count 2.5 chins just from one side....
It has over 200k followers. Only follows 5. Either way I didn't even realize I was following that account. Not sure how that happened. Disregard. I agree #fakenews. If I had noticed I wouldn't have posted it.
Not sure we want to make any more trades involving Detroit in the near future. The players might not pass their physical.
Actually, they look like the seventies trying to say "hello". Where's the lime green counter top in the kitchen?
