I saw that guy. Looks like he has a tall boy in each hand.

No McCann double opportunity is obvious unless it's ground-rule.

Beltran, by at least 2 feet/second. as measured by Statcast.

It's his superior hand-eye coordination. A couple of years ago, he had a video that showed his visit to his hometown. And he and his friends were hitting ordinary bottle caps instead of baseballs. Must have helped developed that.

I think its getting safe to say Beltran may be done. I was hoping for a repeat of last year but he just isn't heating up. Hope he can turn it on soon. I can see him losing his spot come playoffs.

Oh yeah, I remember that video. That's a good point. It's probably the reason he can reach out and spoil pitches almost at will.

    edit: and another hit....

Is relief Musgrove a thing? I really want it to be a thing.

Nice job of working around an infield single and Tyler White in the infield.

If Altuve wins the batting title this year, it's his career 3rd, and will equal SEVEN consecutive years of Jose-Miguel, both Venezuelan.

He's definitely staying out of the zone when he needs to. I agree, let's give him more opportunities. We know there will be plenty more blowouts to do so.......
