Sounds like Kyrie wants to go to the west. As if the west isn't tough enough. Sigh

What valuable piece can the Wolves offer for Irvin?

Why would they rather have Kyrie than the Ryno?

    Doesn't make sense.

Report said that Anthony is focused on going to Houston. So he can stop any trade with his NTC.

That would be so horrible for him. He is just now getting over the first trade.

The Knicks will contact Cleveland and make a pitch. The obvious move would be to trade Carmelo Anthony and a few first round picks for a bona-fide superstar. However, a source close to Anthony said late Friday that the All Star forward is focused on getting a deal done with Houston.

Anthony would have to waive his no-trade and there is no guarantee that Anthony would do that to join a Cavs team that didn't have Irving. Also, Anthony probably knows better than anyone that LeBron is leaving next July.

Carmelo could opt out of the final year of his contract next summer and become a free agent himself but he'd be giving up $25 million. If he were traded to Cleveland and stays for two years, his teammates would be J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert but not LeBron and Kyrie. Basically, he'd have the Knicks without the Manhattan lifestyle.

So what franchise is currently in a worse position? Knicks or Cavs? Can't be a lot of teams worse than those two.

The Knicks are going to be so lit after they trade Carmelo for Antetokounmpo and salary filler.

(Oh, wait? The other team and Carmelo [with a NTC] get a say? What a concept.)

Just don't get this at all. No way that is anywhere close to fair value for Irving. Cleveland would be idiots to do that.

What if the Knicks give him the choice of rotting on the bench or allowing a trade to the Cavs? He may say no now, but for how long?

Rotting on the bench collecting them checks. Ad long as he stays in shape, they just extend his career by one season. And the Knicks look like idiots.

Melo's agent would stonewall any of his other clients from signing with New York and it'll show other players that if they sign there they may be treated like ****.

They can't bench him because he wont agree to the trade they want. There'd be mutiny in the locker room and the Knicks would continue to be a circus.

Basketball god is not on our side it seems:

    - 2 yard line
    - NYK hires new GM
    - Les selling team
    - back at own 20 yard line
    - gains some momentum again
    - Kyrie asks for trade
    - back to own end zone
