Clutch says he will ban fake news, and that the forum isn't the place to post your fake news joke thread. The use of the word joke clearly pertains to those who think it is funny to post fake news, i.e. "We just traded for Carmelo". A parody thread can only be viewed as fake news by the extremely dense posters who don't catch on. As such, it is not the sort of joke that Clutch referred to in his post with respect to dicks who enjoy tricking people. To read it out of context ignores the fact that there are clear joke threads in the GARM that everyone is cool with.

You can make such jokes inside existing treads like the guys above did. The reason why Clutch had to step in was too many people thought it's cool to create fake news/joke thread, so the forum was FILLED with made up threads. If Clutch didn't step in I bet you there would have been 8 more thread just like this one, and that would be stupid.

Kind of amazing the money we're talking about. If all of the 43,000+ total members here put up $10,000 each, we wouldn't even come close. If ClutchFans wanted to buy the Rockets, all the members (including the socks) would need to put up about $50,000 each, which would get us to around $2 billion. $70,000 each gets us to $3 billion. The problem with that is we'd all want seats, so ticket revenue would plummet. We'd also have to renegotiate with Maury who would take us to the cleaners and demand autonomy over the roster development, which would piss off a huge number of GARMers who would want to make trades all the time.
