How does history together impact anything? Knicks are the most irrational franchise in the league and I don't think they care one bit about the Rockets. The wrench in the situation now though changes things, even the remote possibility of getting Kyrie will cause Dolan to intervene and try and get a deal that lets them out from under Melo and gets Kyrie to NY. Kyrie in New York makes a lot of sense, he fits the profile of flashy NY players, and if there is even the possibility that this can happen, the Knicks will hold out for it. The Rockets don't have anything that intrigues NY. Right now, the Knicks don't have to do anything, they have zero pressure since their team is going nowhere. The Rockets & Cavs are the ones who need to get a deal done, not the Knicks. The Knicks have every reason in the world to wait out the Kyrie situation.
It was kind of a joke post, but i was saying morey has done somethings to the knicks (lin contract) abd owned them (tmac trade).
To me it's on Boston, they got so strong this offseason (for east conf.) that Cavs don't want to be embarrassed by the time East finals will come.
Did u read the thread? Sounds like it died. Cavs said we dont want melo at all for kyrie (implying a pick is not enough to make things work). And the knicks said they wont trade kris...who the cavs probably do not want but would use in a 3 team deal.
Or, pending the future of Carmelo, it could be fantastic for us. Just saying. I am really blown away by this Kyrie news. I don't understand how a guy can complain about being to two straight Finals -- he may never get there again if he leaves Lebron.
Rockets are basically ****ed at this point. Take out chances with harden, Paul, and the gypsy tramp front line.
I know Irving is worth young players and picks But cavs will try to WIN NOW to TRY to keep LEBRON Look for them to ADD another PG, + pick That suns Knicks deal makes sense for everyone, suns get another young player, Knicks Irving, cavs win now mode players Suns - frank Cavs - Bledsoe + melo + 1st Knicks - Irving THIS KEEP LEBRON HAPPY for at least one year
actually it could help us, people haven't really clicked on that Kryie going to the Knicks could help us get Melo in a three way trade
Melo is not going to waive his no trade clause if LeBron isn't committed beyond 17/18. That NTC is his only Ace and he's not going to execute it for one season and a questionable future while there's more stability in Houston.
