    So Cleveland is hiring a NEW GM, and he is going to give up Kyrie for Melo.....

    This is about the worst trade ever. Nobody has sources other than Kyrie doesn't want to play with Lebron. That is it.

    Cleveland isn't going to trade a top 20 player for a one year rental. The whole league is probably calling them right now to see the asking price.

    Melo isn't an option for Kyrie. Not even close.

    If you're the Knicks this is infinitely better than anything the Rockets can do.

    I don't think Bledsoe is regarded so highly nowadays.

    Though I agree that Frank ain't nothing to get excited about. Can't believe they drafted him over Smith and Monk.

    Why would the Suns do this? So they can free up cap space to strike out on LeBron and other free agents next year?

    The Knicks, obviously, have strong interest in Kyrie Irving (just like 29 other teams) but I'm told people in the Knicks front office would not be willing at this point to include Kristaps Porzingis in a trade. Some with the organization would be willing to include future first-round picks and Carmelo Anthony in a deal for Irving, per league sources.

    We gotta pray that Cleveland isn't dumb enough to trade Irving straight up for Melo.
    We gotta pray New York isn't desperate enough to trade Melo + Kristaps for Irving.
    We gotta pray third teams like Suns and Bucks won't be Irving-crazy and willing to ship enough assets to satisfy both the Knicks and the Cavs.

    It was also conjured up by Bill Simmons. Not much for Phx there. They can do way better than that.

    Shump also isn't expiring if I recall.

    y'all are absolutely insane and a blinded by red-tinted glasses if you don't think cleveland would take a melo/kyrie/3rd team fillers trade. guess who was begging melo to join the cavs?? LEBRON F'ING JAMES. guess who's still on the cavs??? you guessed it... LEBRON F'ING JAMES. he might as well be calling the shots. and if they cleveland front office is smart (whoever that is at the moment), you do everything you can to appease king james. period, end of story.

    this kills the rockets chances. if you can't see that it's only bc you don't want to.
