What if Morey knows better than you?

True, but think about the other crack pipe deals we've seen go down recently. Buddy Heild for Cousins? Oladipo for Paul George? LaVine for Butler?

Nothing would surprise me at this point, especially when the Knicks and Cavs are involved.

While I generally believe your story, unless the Cavs make a deal, the Knicks are going to be forced to deal with Houston or hold on to a disgruntled player while simultaneously screwing yourself in the public eye for future free agents.

This guy sounds like he's on the outside anyways and not part of a team involved in the actual deal or discussions, so I can't really take his word as bond.

Oh Ben, you know good and well these forums are watched. Not just your team. Every team. Seeds are planted mostly in jest. But truth is out there. You will see soon enough. If you guys don't believe that teams have people that read EVERYTHING, guess again.

If we trade Capela and Anderson, this team gets worse, then Chris Paul definitely isn't staying (he's the teams best roll man with the league's best pick and roll coach and 2 of the 3 best pick and roll guards around...). Imitating NY by making your roster worse for Melo isn't something I'm up for.

You don't ignore the tornado on the other side of town, but it doesn't mean its going to tear your house down. I'm just saying that we should prepare for it NOT to happen, but of course we should still pay attention to what is going on with Melo. Its about realizing how challenging it will be for the Rockets to acquire another star, especially without giving up Capela, and our good role players.

But you've only decided to share this info once Kyrie asked for a trade. Okay.

Ryno could not rim protect either as a 5 yet you said it was a pretty good death ball line up. Smoov would be the best death ball 5 that is still available/affordable IMO. He can rebound, protect the rim AND stretch the floor.

So you'd rather keep Capela and lose Paul, melo and lebron?

The tables have turned. Morey is no longer in control of the situation.

Kyrie asking for a trade changes everything.

Knicks and kyrie are in control now.

And have zero rim protection? You really are slow.. if Lebron told Morey he was coming to Cleveland just get melo capella would've been gone in a millisecond

I only see two plausible destinations for Kyrie....Denver and Phoenix.

Denver seems like a good fit...

Kyrie doesn't have a ntc. Just like Indiana Cleveland doesn't give a s*** where he wants to go they'll take the best deal

You over value Capela. Capela is easily replaceable, Paul, lebron and melo are not.

Bogut, McGee or Tyson chandler (probable buy out) can easily replace Capela.

Warriors won a championship with Zara ****ing pachulia at center lol.

But no, you'd rather keep Capela over Paul, lebron and melo, you must be really slow...

So, trade Capela..........or risk losing it all? Boom, crash, bang?

What, the Cavs will take whatever the Knicks want? With Jedi mind tricks, I presume.

    Overreact much?

Do you always panic this easy? Relax my man...
As of know we don't know where Paul's loyalty even stands.... We don't know if he is actually trying to win a title here or if this was just his ticket out of Clippers....

There is juggernaut in the league at the moment and melo going to Cleveland or Portland or anywhere does not change that.... Irving going to New York or even San Antonio does no change that either... Those guys are pushing 4 stars...

Houston with Melo is the closest to emm and you know why? Not because of Melo or Paul... Because of Harden, we know where he stands... And those guys can stand with him or not.... Relax, if Melo wants Houston it will happen...
