Cleveland would be stupid to trade Irving this summer. If they deal him right now, they're going to get pennies on the dollar, and it will make the team worse—essentially wasting what is likely to be Lebron's last season as a Cavalier. If you're willing to deal Kyrie this summer, you might as well deal Lebron and Love, too, and completely blow this thing up. Because this Cavs team sans Irving isn't winning anything.
Signing there for the vets minimum is a big difference than a sign and trade which would i assume pay him a lot more than 2.1 per season. Rose is worth the vets minimum and nothing more at this point.
when pg13 gets traded for oladipo and a throw in, I am no longer surprised at trade moves in this era
You know Morey's been on the phone with Cleveland as soon as the news broke. He's the same dude that asked Cuban if he wanted to trade Dirk. Guy has no chill.
What I don't get is if your management and truly concerned that Lebron is leaving next year, wouldn't you express those concerns as a way to keep Kyrie? Hey, lets make 1 more run at a championship, and if Lebron moves on next year, we will build around you. As a side note, I'd love to see Kyrie on PHX or MIA. Eric Bledsoe or Dragic would be nice starting points in a trade too.
"This has been bubbling for awhile now. I was just too afraid/uncertain to go public with it. Shout out to Windy for breaking the news I had."
Too bad most rockets fans think the nba is real. Since adam silver has taken over, its more entertainment than anything and about trying to create SUPERTEAMS
under the radar no one would have guessed trade: okc trades westbrook for irving when it becomes clear westbrook isn't signing the supermax extension. OKC can't afford to let another superstar leave in free agency for nothing, and Kyrie is locked up long term.
