CP3 with 2 elite wing scorers. Of course the defense will stink, but they have a chance to outscore GS.
"Landlord" probably means Meyers Leonard lol. The guy said Leonard, Melo, Derozan, Clarkson, Randle and Baron Davis were also there. @Carl Herrera 's translation is pretty good.
Exactly, Melo will be a Rocket sooner or later but its going to happen..... Way too many sauces and media coverage over a trade that has yet to "happen".... Seems more to me that the media is just paving the way for when the story hits because it's going to be huuuuuuge... Also, f Portland and Lillard and Drexlerfan and Bones.....
They aren't going to give more than Anderson and a 1st rounder...they can throw in Eric Gordon and get the deal complete right now, but that would be dumb. They aren't going to offer any more than what is on the table, if NY doesn't go through with it, Houston moves forward. Giving up more just to complete the deal is how bad teams do it.
The only way I throw Gordon into anything is if the Bulls buyout Wade and he's willing to play less minutes and stay healthy here.
Love reading this simply because it's not factual at all. He rebounds, plays D, passes and scores in every way possible yet Rockets would be lucky without him. FOH.
Report: Carmelo Anthony willing to waive $8 million trade kicker for Rockets http://nba.nbcsports.com/2017/07/20...-to-waive-8-million-trade-kicker-for-rockets/
So far all that will has not gotten a deal nearly as close to done as has been reported, I was told by sources. There are major hurdles, and the Knicks don’t like the offers they’ve gotten so far, which is why they pulled back (not because of the Scott Perry hiring or some desire to change Anthony’s mind).
if the right deal comes along, i'd rather keep the first, unload gordon, and add a different- starter worthy guard with different skills at a lower salary...with paul and melo, we wouldn't need gordon's ball-dominant skills as much as someone who could play defense and also hit the three at a simlar rate. in other words, if we can add another pat beverley instead, or even a taller guard who can guard taller 2's, i'd be all for it. the rockets have to sign paul to super- max next year, sign capela to a near max, leave space to resign melo when his contract is up, and then also, leave the door open for lebron james if he wants to come. they can't pay them all, and in the end, with paul and melo, you can afford to lose gordon, who is injury prone anyways.
Foolishness. You just mentioned everyone of Phil Jackson's talking points he used to get Melo to waive his NTC. Fact of matter, if we had Melo instead of Ryan Anderson last year we beat the Spurs and push GS to 6 games. Melo is elite
Melo being elite is a BIG stretch. He's a better player than Ryan Anderson, but he is definitely not elite.
