Every time a sports team goes up for sale i hear fans mention elon musk but i never see any reports that hes even interested. Has he ever shown any interest in owning a sports team?
Never knew his name is usually brought up for sports teams. Most likely because he's super rich. I just think there would be a good synergy with the Rockets and SpaceX but then again Bezos has Blue Origin and he is also rich. Now that I think about it Bezos would be the best owner. He could put a Whole Foods inside Toyota Center, have the Washington Post write articles about how awesome the Rockets are and make an Amazon documentary on the championship season after he prime delivers the Larry O'Brien to Houston.
I don't see Aliens being interested in play things such as Sports franchises. Elon is not of this planet and has no connection to sports fandom.

Not really. The thing to watch is the hard cap at this point, but these players would have been signed regardless as they are min signings. If Morey does get a deal done, and is taking on more money in the deal, he'll have to make sure that all of these vet min deals are with players that are going to make the team, and wont be released and then they have to sign other vet min players. Cause they might be only able to sign 1 or 2 more vet min players through the year with the hard cap so he's gotta knock it out of the park with guaranteed money. But... the realist in me thinks that Morey is probably way less optimistic about this deal that 99% of CF, and he's planning on this being his team going into camp. They can hold only guys like Quarterman and Long into training camp though just in case they can get it done.
I beginning to think this current silence is not good...If we don't get him, we are going to regret this, as I don't think EG will be as healthy as he was last year..I love EG, but just have a bad feeling, that's all..
