I'm surprised this place isn't a smoldering ruin.

There hasn't been "smoldering ruin" here in a long while.

Some people surprise themselves regardless of reality.

And other people are as predictable as a left turn on a nascar track.

Two years after the first NASCAR-NHL argument, certain posters still can't muster the testicular fortitude to recognize either would improve Houston's landscape.

Those people can continue being as cowardly as they wish. It's a free country.

Really don't want to face the Mariners in the post season with the potential of facing Paxton twice in a 5 game series. That has Kevin Brown pt 2 written all over it again.

Most playoff teams have at least one great starting pitcher. Pretty much every series has that potential.

We're finally back on the road. Knock their feathers off!

(Didn't realize the game was tomorrow... Why did I think it was Friday... Lol)

Astros would only face him once as he would likely pitch the Wild Card Game.

I'm not so sure they wouldn't hand it to King Felix, despite the fact that Paxton is clearly better right now.

Astros offense has plenty to prove come postseason, especially the Big 3. Most of the 2015 production came from players gone from the roster. Each of the Big 3 have improved since '15, so hope is alive.

With that 1-2, if they stay healthy, and their lineup, there's really no excuse for them not being able to secure the wild card and end up playing the Astros in the ALDS.
