Is the relationship with Ryno salvageable if we attain Melo via buyout?

I think the more important question is - now that CP3 has stolen his jersey number, will he go back to #33 like his Orlando/New Orleans days? If not, what number will he wear?

 

It's already been announced he'll be wearing 33.

 

I think he was expecting to get traded at some point in the future when he decided to sign here, if he didn't he made a mistake, but i think he did, doesn't seem like he's an idiot.

I don't see how he could "demand a trade" - there is no market for people who want to pay him outright. Basically people will only take his salary if it's attached to other picks/young players.

I for one, think Anderson is still a useful player on this roster against 80% of opponents in this league but the fact is it's just hard to hide him against the top tier teams. The best scenario for our team is we retain Anderson and Melo comes to us via a buyout for the vet min.

Once you are on the court all that gets left behind I think. Problem is, Anderson gone girl half the time he's on the court. So it's all bad. If he at least pulled a Robert Horry once in a while I would be happy.

If he comes back next year he's not going to hold a grudge. We gave him that enormous contract, what does he have to complain about.

Ryan Anderson is soft. He should have no problem. No other team would pay him $20million for 4 years and give him a starting spot

Speaking of Robert Horry, he got traded to Detroit, trade was called off, he returned to Houston and he wasn't salty about it. Rockets won their second championship that year.
