no the difference in volume isn't just based on systems. that if you're not a good 3 pt shooter you dont shoot alot. but you shoot 1-2 a game bc the defense leaves you wide open and that's tuckers case. ariza takes 3s in rhythm a ton even with a contest bc its in rhythm. just bc you say you don't recall doesn't make it false. tucker would absolutely struggle in ariza's full time role.
Tucker only attempts fewer than half of arizas threes. He's not a willing shooter by design. I only see him attempt threes when he's wide wide open. Or else he passes it off
Dude played less than 15 minutes a game last year and averaged more blocks than Capela. I think people are sleeping on him. We got pounded by teams with big men. 0-2 vs dwight, 0-2 vs Whiteside etc. I just like that he has sand in his pants and he can hold his spot on defense. He seems like a bigger chuck hayes.
Portland is freaking delusional. OKC lost KD in free agency outright and went from 3rd seed to 7th seed. Do they really think adding Melo drags their 8th seed squad to the upper echelon? They collectively have worse contracts than we do. Crabbe, Turner, and Leonard are dead weight, at least Anderson can play. They're not looking to compete, they just want to dump some bad contracts and get Melo to sell some tickets. Then they'll pray that he declines their option so they can start over. Why waste his time?
just be patient lol... the knicks will pull the trigger and we won't give up ariza nor gordon in the deal. we are talking about the knicks. i doubt they'd want gordon anyway after paying hardaway and telling courtney lee he won't be traded. the team stated they want a point guard, so get a 3rd team that's trying to dump a pg. Detroit and Phoenix. Phoenix won't give up bledsoe for just anything, the guy is highly underrated and puts up better numbers than most pgs. Therefore, Knight is an option. Detroit can move Reggie Jackson. I know this is old news but you all over overlooking it panicking about never getting him or giving up gordon or capela. Some trade scenarios can be Hou: Melo Phx: Anderson Nyk: Knight, Ng'ed, 1st round pick why does phoenix do this deal... because they need a vet on the team to play at their weakest spot, the 4 spot and help that log jam in the backcourt by moving knight. It helps spacing the floor for bledsoe and booker iso game and a cutting josh jackson to kick it out to booker and anderson at the 3 line. Also to help their young bench with warren, ulis, chriss, williams and bender Hou: Melo Det: Anderson Nyk: Jackson, Ng'ed, 1st round pick why does detroit do this deal... because Van Gundy saw the key to success in Orlando with a dominant center and a stretch 4 that can shoot, plus they movie reggie jackson who is a horrible fit to their roster. From what it looks like, detroit has Jon Leuer starting at the 4 spot and Anthony Tolliver as his backup. A line up of Ish Smith, Bradley, Tobias, Anderson and Drummond resembles Orlando a lot. The bench still has good shooting with Leuer, Kennard, Galloway.
Ariza is going NOWHERE. NOWHERE I say. He's a big part of the team for CP3. Again, TREVOR ARIZA IS GOING NOWHERE. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS.
We need to patiently wait. The longer we wait and the closer to the regular season we come the more Anderson's trade value will increase. He'll finally become attractive to multiple teams and the Knicks might take him themselves or we might be able to get a second rounder from a team wanting him. Just wait it out and keep talking trade with everybody else until the right deal comes along. We don't need to worry about Melo. He's coMing. We need to worry about having enough defense and rebounding in the paint. We'll have enough scoring, shooting, and enough playmaking and more than enough offensive efficiency and defense on the perimeter. The only weakness is the defensive paint and the glass. Black will be a huge help. We need to attempt to upgrade Capela and we'll be set. For the first time in over 20 years I feel like we can really contend for the championship.
I hate to be that guy, but why post tweets from random people that are only quoting the original source.
He is a willing 3 point shooter. He's just terrible at 3s when not in the corner. Tucker atempts 73% of his 3s from the corner, Ariza 35%. Tucker and Bbah a Moute will fill the corner areas of the floor for the Rockets and Ariza/Gordon/Melo or Anderson set up at top of the key. Corner 3 shooters are fine as long as you don't have too many on the floor. At least not in the Rockets pace and space system.
he's wiling in the sense that you leave him wide open, he's going to take it. that's good and i like that if he makes it count but that's the only 3's he should be taking bc he isn't a good shooter otherwise. good for off the bench but not a full time starter on a nightly basis
Since Melo said no to Portland, can the Bones actor clown go back to name dropping himself on some cam sites?
