    Let's say we get Melo and win the 'ship this year, but new management screws everything up, causing us to go another 20+ years without a title. Worth it or not?

    This means that Melo's fate has already been decided. Les would not have announced at this time if he thought it was going to have a devastating effect on the talks. OR they internally already know it is not happening.

    This is a massive, shocking move made by Les...Really not sure if many execs within the organization even knew Les was thinking this way.

    Since this looks like goodbye...thank you Les for bringing our cities only titles...And thank you for not allowing losing seasons as part of our team's culture.

    I agree with Clutch. I'm not so sure this is good news. And Fertitta as a possibility? The same guy that essentially destroyed Kemah and is working hard to screw up Galveston? That Fertitta? God, I hope not.

    I don't know what I will do if the rockets get moved to another city even though they say they won't. Les was a great owner. He didn't believe in tanking.
