    He doesn't even have control over his own money. I heard after his dad died that he tried to buy a very expensive vehicle, but the trust shut him down. His sister Randa is the one who has voting power over the other 3 siblings shares.

    Also something to consider...

    Based on what Tad said today, nobody in the organization knew until today this was happening. Tad called Harden and Morey and Chris Paul to tell them and tried to call D'Antoni and couldn't reach him before the press conference.

    This news is going to be alarming to a lot of people.

    There could be a smooth transition or it could unravel quickly. This is such a strange day.

    The time this has gone well in recent memory was with Golden State, but it's so so rare. We could end up with some internet playboy billionaire like ... Cuban. :(

    Speaking of the Warriors, I have to wonder if the juggernaut with a long window in the Bay Area has caused Les to sell earlier than he was planning. Maybe he sees it as slim pickings for us over the next three years, and barring an injury to Stephanie or Durant, that's probably fairly accurate.

    Scott Duncan reminds me of Josh Kroenke. Don't see anything impressive about his resume. Just inherited wealth.

    Friedkin or Arnold seen more mature and stable to me.

    ToyCen has a 30 year lease right?

    How hard is it for teams to bail on those? Basically impossible? Will definitely be a group making offers, not a single individual. The era of the single owner is dead.

    If Yao and a group became owners, i think it would be really good. Yao and Daryl get along great, and Yao would trust in Daryl's philosophy

    He can easily buy the rockets, but he won't, because he's smart, and investing close to 50% of your capital into professional sports is fiscal suicide.
