    Gotta trust Les and Tad to find the right guy. I have a feeling Les will do everything in his power to put the future of the franchise in good hands.

    Why would anyone want Fertitta? Judging by his restaurants and his stance on the tigers he keeps at the aquarium, I don't view him favorably. I think best case scenario is a rich hedge fund group who speaks the same language as Morey.

    In the immediate future, this is not good news for free agent recruiting efforts. Uncertainty about ownership can make the top free agents uneasy about the direction of the franchise-- Will the new owner, for example, keep Morey on board or bring in his own guys? The new owner may be as good as or better than Les Alexander, but if you are a free agent making a decision, you can't be sure.

    Well if we can get 50000 people on this board to chip in 30k we would buy the franchise. Its a great investment. When is the last time a sports franchise lost money?

    God I hope this sits well with the important people within the organization and team.

    Hopefully they sell it to someone who won't disturb the vision... and let's DM run the show. I have faith they will. Because if not....

    The possibility of a owner that is like jerry jones and James Dolan....mannnn let me not even go there smh.

    Leslie didn't build the Championship teams he was Lucky! Championships fell into his lap.. next thing he did was change the Jerseys.. then cater to China.. We need new blood and bring back the classics and Carter to the Fans in the City of Houston.

    A horrible owner could literally destroy our franchise for the next decade. Decide he doesn't want to pay Chris Paul's extension, Melo bolts assuming we get him. Morey and front office get cleaned out.

    Holy ****. This is a nightmare.

    I'm not a big fan of the Fertitta idea either. His personality seems dangerous to me. Gets fired up easily, goes to the media a lot about UH stuff, tends to spout off...that leads me to believe he would be a volatile owner.
