    I have a buddy who's close with Tilman Fertitta. He told me a year ago this would be happening, but I wasn't so sure. Looks like it's true.

    Tilman will probably make a play for it.

    Also, if you're wondering which posters on this board are the kind of people who have to be worried about something in order to survive, look for the posters saying we're gonna leave Houston. Ppl plz.

    Houston is a top 5 city in terms of population (right?). I feel like only small market teams get shuffled around

    We have one of the most well-respected organizations in sports. This has a good chance of being a franchise-crippling move for us. Hopefully we can some rich guy who stays the hell out of Daryl's way.

    League investigation concluded that Les Alexander chased the referee down, Billy Kennedy, and then after the game permanently shoved a basketball up his ass. So while there was only limited inappropriate language before and after the event, there were several acts of misconduct that could not be undone.

    I'm very confident that the new owner will keep the organizational structure of the franchise in tact. What we should be most worried about is the possibility of the new owner be more hands on and whether the new owner will be willing to go into the tax consistently.
