    Fiers has really turned his season around. Becoming a quite reliable middle rotation SP.

    In his career, Mike has faced a total of 46 batters in the eighth inning. Those batters have had a BA of .250 and OPS of .601 against Mike. That is a lower OPS than opposing hitters have achieved against Mike in any of the first seven innings.

    It's interesting that many people view Jake as a bench player. While I don't see Jake getting an everyday starting job with the Stros any time soon, I can see where some clubs might let him start every day.

    There were a couple games late in the 2015 season where MMP fans reached out for balls and it seemed to work against us in critical situations. I've never sat in those seats but I wonder if the ushers give instructions to the fans before or during the game about interfering with balls in play.
