    Looking at Sipp's advanced numbers and he has actually been fairly good this season. Not what we need in terms of a LH specialist but definitely useable as the worst pitcher in your 'pen.

    It's just frustrating because for pride reasons I want that best record... it's annoying when they preface every Dodgers commentary with "the best team in baseball" because they have one more game played and one more win.

    Hoyt has some nice stats too. xFIP of 2.23 is mighty low. Would not be surprising to see him start to reap better results than he has seen in recent weeks.
