He's improving. Batted ball data still not great but he is swinging at the right pitches... when Breg gets his swing where it needs to be he will be a star.
How does looking at his "batted ball data" help you to "get his swing where it needs to be"? He had great success last year making an effort to elevate the ball. Early this year he was not doing the same, maybe that's changed in the past month.
OK, seriously **** Torii Hunter. He's talking about how there are easy parks to hit HRs, Yankee Stadium, Baltimore, Boston, Housto...Altuve goes OPPO and shuts him up.
Can someone explain why Reddick is batting 3rd? It seems that Springer, correa or even Altuve would be a more natural fit .... serious question
He drops his hands too often, leading to a ton of in field pop ups. It's very fixable, just needs to be able to repeat his swing better.
The 2nd spot in the lineup is statistically the most advantageous position to have your best hitter in. Second most at bats in the lineup coupled with having run scoring opportunities more often when the leadoff hitter is on base.
Nice of Hinch... I assume there is sound reasoning behind it as well. Seems temporary or maybe a wait and see ...
