Not only is H-Town Home, he now has the best chance of getting to the finals. Hoping Melo is on board by Monday. Also, hope the new Vipers arena is completed in time for pre-season.

OK, everyone coming to Harden's defense, that's cool.

However, a Western Conference Finals and competitive series against the Warriors will be redemption for him, whether you like it or not.

And arguing about Harden is missing the point. It would be redemption because all of those guys have fatal flaws / stigmas associated with them:
    D'Antoni - can't coach defense, can't beat the Spurs
Harden - can't play defense, lazy
Paul - choker, can't make the WCF
Melo - lazy, egomaniac, can't win at all

That team winning in the NBA would re-write the stories of all of their careers.

Paul and Carmelo's yes. Not Harden. James has been to the finals, WCF, and runner up to MVP twice.

I think people here are underestimating the importance of knowing where your home is after partying hard all night.

The fact that so many of you guys still think harden is a bum and hold the playoffs over his head is crazy to me.

He's been a one man band for 5 years. The only real help he has had from an elite player was dwights first year. I agree that harden is prob the main reason we lost that first round series to Portland, he was also only 23 years old and in his second season as the man starting. We forget that.

But everything else he has accomplished which is 3 playoffs series wins and a WCF birth is pretty remarkable. Not to mention in that span he's won 2 games against the warriors by himself basically.

    Put this for perspective.

In the past 3 seasons James harden with crazy roster change bad coaching has as many playoffs series wins as he great coach pop and his star Kawi Leonard.

    Thank about that.

Don't believe him. It's just PR. As soon as it is better for him or for the Rockets, he's gone.

Finally someone said something about the truth.

Harden can't be doubted on this forum, despite of gigantic body of signs that he won't bring title to this city.

    What about Playoff:

Aria, Beverley, Anderson, Capela, Gordon, Nene , or Playoff D'Antoni. They ALL hot their asses kicked in game 6.

I always love posts like this because the same people saying this always love to say they'd trade Harden for guys like Westbrook or Paul George or Damian Lillard or whatever other guard who has also shown zero capability of doing so.

    Grass is always greener.

Considering all the money Harden has at such a young age he is quite mature and dedicated to winning.

    Consider the alternative

I wouldn't want to trade the Rockets future for the mavs future right now.

    Thank u.

"Harden is a loser, I say we trade him for winners like Paul George who just got swept in the 1st round or Lillard who has never even made it to a game 6 in the 2nd round in his entire career."

They all had bad games, outside of Ariza. But Harden didnt even compete. He simply wasnt interested in playing. BIG difference. You can go 2-13 in the 1st half & just start off bad. But Harden took only 2 shots, passed up open looks & carelessly turned the ball over. He quit
