And that's where his career goes to die.

    RIP Simmons.

Very strange that the Spurs chose Rudy Gay over this guy.

He was a real problem for us in that Spurs series. This is good news.

Wow that's a great deal. I would rather pay him 4/71 than THJ.

Good for him! Went from having to pay $150 to get a D-League tryout to getting $20 million! That's a hell of an investment!

No offense to PJ, but I wish the Spurs renounced Simmons rights before we signed Tucker to our MLE.

I was watching The Jump and they were saying Simmons and Pop didn't get along.

Fits what a poster said earlier meaning that Pop just wore on him.

what is going on in Spursville USA? It smells like, from a distance and uneducatedly, there's foment at the moment in their locker room; something in addition to socks steenken.

Is there a crack in the Eden's armor?

And yes, way to go Mr Simmons. Well played, well deserved.

    Uh.ok. Sure.

On the other hand that's where he will be setting up his family wealth for the future. His finances/savings account/investments are going to be alive and popping on a greater level now!

Kudos and congratz to the Houston breh!

Remember guys, Rudy Gay is potentially on Durant's level.

This is why the Spurs picked him over Simmons.

So you have to be the team that finds the Jonathan Simmons type players, not overpay them?

Seems like SA sees him as a product of the system.

Simmons looks to be a good player but the Spurs seem to find players like him regularly. Will be interesting to see how he does outside of the Spurs system. While the Spurs obviously know what they're going I didn't get why they didn't play this guy more.
