    Sadly I don't think Carmelo really cares about winning that much he would rather just stay in New York... remember he wasn't the one trying to leave.

    Remember that although he didn't pick us Melo was super impressed with the Rockets three years ago. That stuff matters. Now that his buddy CP3 is here it's probable Houston is his #1 choice no matter what.

    its possible there was more to this. they have been trying to trade melo since last season. remember thr clips said no. its possible he attacked him to get him to add more teams to the very short list

    melo is a smart guy and knows how to get what he wants.

    Well that's always been the question about Melo. Does he want to sacrifice to win, or be selfish and lose? It's the thing that worries me most if the Rockets were to get him. Still, I'm for making it happen if Anderson is the only asset lost.

    Will be interesting to see if melo actually makes it clear how he wants to win this time. He's fooled everyone every time and chosen living in New York over winning. Don't be surprised if that happens again.

    I'm not even sure it's about him being selfish as it is he grew up a fan of the Knicks and wants to be in New York.

    Exactly what I was thinking. I'm sure he thinks he might have a shot @ convincing Melo to stay and help. It's ultimately gonna be up to Melo to say "indeed not!! I want out!!!"

    I think Melo wants to be where he's wanted. He'll have a best friend in CP3 here. He'll have a chance to rescue his legacy here.

    That's a big pull instead of, "hey we don't like you we wanted you out but since the new guy is here will you stay?"
