I believe you, but I won't believe it until it's official, if that makes sense.

Perry: "Thanks for the opportunity. Here's what we do..."

Mills:"well we started by giving hardaway Jr a 4 year 71 million dollar deal."

    Perry:"wait, what!? Why?"

Fk every one of these analyst, they all hate Melo coming to the Rockets. Somehow they can't fathom how it will work with 3 ball dominate players in Houston on but some how he fits perfectly with cavs because yaknow kyrie and Lebron don't have the ball a lot or anything sigh

Not that I believe it anyway but can someone summarize the caveat or clause that Windhorse is referring to?

The reason we don't have to take on any other "dung" is because Melo has specifically chosen US as his desired destination. If the Knicks are looking to get ANYTHING out of Carmelo, they have to trade him here. Knowing that, the Rockets are operating from a position of power. The Knicks know that they can't start the season with Melo on their roster, so they HAVE to trade him if they don't want to pay him to leave. But the Rockets are in a position where they can refuse trash assets back in return.

Maybe him waiving part of the trade kicker like CP3 did when he came to Houston?

Nothing says Future GM like getting fired from the Magic then hired by the Kings. Knicks way ahead of the curve, light years!!!!

When the Magic doesn't even want you in their front office, your choices are basically down to the Kings, the Knicks, and the Pelicans.

Honestly I think he wants to be out of the loop because majority of the ESPN reporters don't want to write about on how Houston finally won a championship after 25 years!
the hate for Houston is so real from bspn

    Perry hire is good
This should make things move. Knicks prob weren't gonna make this deal without a GM aboard.
Now the focus is soley on Melo.
Perry will now decide the future of Meyers Leonard
