    As they should have. They aren't run by idiots like Cuban who will break up a championship team to roll the dice. Klay is a better fit on that team anyway.

    Of course they would turn that down.

    1. PG plays the same position as KD.
    2. PG is an expiring contract that already said he would bail for LA next year.
    3. Klay Thompson is worth double what OKC gave up for PG.
    4. The Warriors are like the greatest team of all time at this point. That requires all-time talent but also all-time chemistry. Who would break that up?!

    NBA sources say Knicks have settled on new front office

    As the Knicks try to maneuver their way through what is turning out to be a massive undertaking - finding a way to trade Carmelo Anthony - two NBA team sources said that they have settled one aspect by completing their front office restructuring.

    A Knicks official would not comment on it, but two people who have been in talks with the team said that they were told that Steve Mills will make the official move up to team president and that a general manager to fill the role he held the last three years has been selected. But there was no word on exactly who the pick is.

    If the Knicks move internally the most logical name would be Allan Houston, a favorite of Garden Chairman James Dolan, who has served as assistant general manager and then added the role of general manager of the team’s developmental league team, the Westchester Knicks.

    If Mills, who has been serving as acting president since Jackson's departure, pulls up someone close to him at least the front office would be on the same page now. Of course, staying internal also keeps in place pieces of a front office that has failed miserably for nearly two decades now.
