    We're basically at the goal line but keep getting stuffed. At the same time though, the Jets D-line is giving us free 1st downs because they keep getting called for false start

    The catch and shoot drill is nice, but I especially like the Ryan Anderson one legged jumper tribute. I will miss seeing that from Ryno on a nightly basis. Maybe Melo will wear number 3 in his honor.

    The best case scenario would have been to form a 3 team trade with the Clippers, Knicks, and us.

    We could have sent the Knicks the PG they were looking for and we could have gotten Melo while the Clippers gained some nice assets for facilitating a trade that would form the West's newest super team.

    Again, if CP3 woulda never been traded to us to begin with Melo wouldn't have been interested in coming here. Not sure if it woulda worked just doing some hindsight speculating.

    Quick question. I keep seeing the media outlets reporting a deal is close but we still haven't found a taker for Anderson's contract. But if we haven't even found a taker for Anderson, how the hell would we be close to finalizing the trade? Is this all lies?

    No worthwhile media outlet has reported a deal is close..

    That said, Woj reported that HOU/NY is confident of having a 3rd team but are searching for a 4th for a contract that NY/HOU couldn't & wouldn't take back. Sounds like they found a potential taker for Anderson.

    No deal was imminent Wednesday, but the Knicks and Rockets are confident that they have a willing third-team trade partner, the sources said.

    The fourth team was needed to move a particular player contract that neither the Knicks nor Rockets could or would accept in the deal, league sources said.    ​
