    Because, as you say, nothing newsworthy for 3 or 4 days. Clearly the Knicks want to dump Melo, and the Rockets want to dump Anderson. But, the Rockets and Knicks can't con another team to take Anderson and give up something of value.

    It feels like the Rockets and Knicks have been leaking info to get other teams interested, but it just hasn't worked.

    My guess (aka insider sauces):

    Rockets are just waiting to complete the trade AFTER the CP3 ceremony tomorrow. That way we can have another ceremony later with all 3 guys.

    They don't want CP3's signing to be overshadowed.

    As always the situation is fluid and things may change, but as of right now this is my guess.

    I see that now.

    I still think thats crazy though. Ill never understand that "us vs them" mindset of some posters lol. Attaching personal pride to whether or not a certain thing happens in sports.

    So a faction of "i told you so" rockets fans win if we dont get melo but the faction of "eat ****" rockets fans win if we do get melo.

    We all just want whats best for the team. We all win and lose together

    Update: I just had lunch with a few of my sauces. They mentioned that Melo to Houston is being discussed. Talk are ongoing. No timescale but things are slowly turning solid from being fluid. Stay tuned. Moar to come.

    I wasn't sitting around hitting refresh for Lawson or some non-needle mover. Melo gives us a shot against GS; puts us firmly ahead of SA imo.

    It also increases the chances of Lebron joining our beloved squad next summer.
