Melo for Anderson straight up doesn't work, so who else outside of our primary 8 players could make a trade realistically work? Do any of the non-guaranteed contracts work or will we still be off a couple million?

Would we need to trade for more NG players?

All I know is all this negative press of no one wanting ryno is either made him super depressed or is gonna fire him up and he's gonna go off next season averaging 35pts 16rebs 8 blks a game, wins mvp unanimously, and breaks Steven currys single season fake 3pt record without illegal screens. First off, we signed Tucker. Can guard 1-4 on the floor and plays with the same intensity and heart.

Second what you proposed was near impossible. If we traded gordon for paul then we still would have had to give up a little more because thats not enough as you can see by them also getting a pick from us. Would have still had to use our non guarantees. Then we would have been left with no bench scorer because we couldnt sign reddick. We had no cap space and would have had to do another sign and trade for reddick with the clippers but we wouldnt have had enough to match what he wanted. He got 23 million from the sixers for one year. My guess is we would have needed atleast 17-20 annually to get him under contract.

Since we are already over the cap trading for paul with gordon plus Non guaranteeds in your scenario we would have to match salaries so we wouldnt have those anymore. We wouldnt have had enough contracts to make it happen since you wanted to keep beverley (only lou will, dekker, harrell, wiltjer and anderson). Thats only 11 million if you leave out anderson. Not enough. Thus we would have had to involve anderson which isnt an easy contract to move. Then we cant add melo because we have no assets or contracts to move out to match. All this just to keep beverley, not be able to add melo, and get reddick. AND STILL HAVE NO PF. Gotta think it through

Please research before you spout off things like they are possible. Ive seen you multiple times post random scenarios you think we should have done and didnt do one ounce of thinking. Morey handled this the perfect way to make cp3, harden, ariza, tucker, melo, capela happen. It was the only way. Quit trying to nitpick it like you know how this works

 

Seems like morey cant quite close the deal on trades like he used too without his right hand man sam hinkie by his side. But i'll give morey another 2 days to try and complete this deal
